At PGL, we are proud of the relationships that we have built up with the local community, national organisations and training providers.  PGL have been instrumental in putting together the "Learning Outside the Classroom" Manifesto and are rightly proud of our association with this key initiative. National Governing Bodies

Our commitment to staff training is well recognised and a big part of this involves our strong links with National Governing Bodies of several sports.  For example, we operate 4 RYA recognised teaching centres and 17 BCU recognised centres.  We work with the UK’s leading authorities and National Governing Bodies not only to offer our guests the safest, approved activities, but also to give our staff the chance to progress and develop their skills in that same safe environment.

Educational Links

We work extremely closely with some of the UK's leading educational awarding bodies to ensure that our staff get the very best training opportunities. PGL is an approved provider of work based learning qualifications with a number of external bodies including Edexcel, City and Guilds, 1st4sport and the National Open College Network.
