We are keen to encourage development through our training programmes and many of our Chefs and Head Chefs originally joined us in an Assistant Chef or Catering Assistant role.
As an Assistant Chef, you'll obtain the Certificate of Competence in Food Hygiene and take part in the customer care and catering-related elements of the Introductory Programme for Activity Centre Staff.
All of our Assistant Chefs have the option to work towards the nationally-recognised Apprenticeship in Hospitality (Catering), giving you the chance to gain a valuable qualification that you can add to your CV.
