To work as a Canoe Instructor you need to be qualified to a minimum of the UKCC Level 1 Coach award. We're also looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and lots of energy.

We look for applications from people who can demonstrate the ability to relate to young people. Qualifications are essential but so is the ability to work confidently with young people and their teachers.

This role is great for anyone looking to start their career in the outdoor industry, searching for a career break, a rewarding gap year project or wishing to develop their existing canoe awards.

If you are a keen paddler yet don't hold any formal coaching qualifications, you may be interested in our Activity Instructor / Group Leader positions, where you can build up your personal competency hours during your free time and work towards gaining your UKCC awards.
