Ian Waddington, Caythorpe Court

Ian says: I started working with PGL in 2007 and have been a Paddlesports Instructor since 2008. I deliver sessions to a variety of guests from college groups to unaccompanied young guests.

Whilst working with PGL I’ve gained my BCU Level 3, 4 Star Canoe, 5 Star Whitewater Kayak and Advanced Whitewater Safety and Rescue.

The staff at PGL make my job what it is and for me: it has opened my mind to so many possibilities. I have made life long friends and created fantastic memories.

Last October I was lucky enough to paddle some amazing rivers in Nepal with an awesome bunch of PGL paddlers – it was an experience I will never forget!

PGL has taught me to grab every opportunity with both hands – so that’s what I’m going to do this season!
