Alton Court, PGL Head Office

PGL's head office is based on the outskirts of the small riverside town of Ross-on-Wye. The location is significant, as the local Rive Wye is where the founder of PGL (Peter Gordon Lawrence) led his very first canoe trips in 1957.

Housed at Alton Court are a number of key functions such as Sales, Marketing, Accounts, Human Resources, IT, Corporate Affairs, Ski, Operations and the different holiday departments.

The Directors are based at Alton Court and all operate and open door policy. We are very proud of our relaxed working environment and PGL is strictly a first name culture. Only on rare days will you see people in business suits, shirts and ties - smart casual is just fine.

Alton Court acts as the central hub between all of the UK and overseas operations and looks after the logistics of deploying activity equipment, vehicles, uniform and pretty much anything else centres may need.
