- General Assistant

Combining several different roles on a rota basis, General Assistants take responsibility for the presentation of the centre and the organisation, storage, issue and care of all PGL's activity equipment.

Help to prepare and serve meals for our guests. Fantastic training opportunities available - no previous experience is required! Many of our Head Chefs joined us in thie role, progressing on our Apprenticeship programme.

As well as amazing activities and fantastic food, our guests have come to expect market-leading accommodation. Our Housekeeping Teams prepare and maintain accommodation and communal areas to create a great first impression for our guests.

Our Head Chefs are responsible for the overall on-site catering provision of their centre, ensuring that the catering team are producing nutritional, varied, balanced and tasty meals.

Keeping on top of things when there are hundreds of children passing through your centre week after week is certainly a challenge. You could be painting rooms, building fences, fixing leaky taps and changing plugs ... all in the same day!
