Outdoor Education Courses for Scotland
Multi-Activity

Multi-Activity at PGL is intellectually and physically demanding but also exciting, stimulating and appropriate to the development needs of young people. The programme includes activities such as raft-building, Jacob’s ladder and our challenge courses, which offer numerous opportunities for working as a team; climbing, abseiling and trapeze support individual achievement.
While taking part, students are challenged to draw on a wide range of skills
including leadership, team-working, communication, self-awareness, empathy
and problem solving.

Field Studies
Loch Ranza is our original Field Studies centre in a truly stunning Scottish Island location. The Isle of Arran has been described by many eminent geologists as “Scotland in miniature” and it is recognised as one of the finest locations for field work in Europe. Such is the quality of the field studies experience here, it attracts school groups from across the UK, and as far afield as London, Kent and the south coast of England.
