Science
Inspire pupils to learn through investigation and experimentation with our KS2 Science course and combine half-days of learning with half-days of adventure activities.
On a PGL Science course we split each day into one Science session and one adventure activity session. Schools can choose from half-day units following themes such as Space Exploration, Forensic Investigations and Fields of Force.
Our fully trained Science instructors make these themes engaging and support your group on a ratio of 1:12. The modules allow for different ability levels and differentiated outcomes.
The course promotes independent learning as pupils are encouraged to discover the answers for themselves, using their investigative skills.

Close to Torquay and within easy reach of the M5, Barton Hall offers accommodation in the main house and in en suite chalets. Facilities include an indoor activity zone, heated outdoor swimming pool, classrooms for Field Studies and Science, and ICT suites. The centre offers distinctive log cabin style accommodation and a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities. ICT and Field Studies courses are available in addition to Multi-Activity courses.
