Within key themes, pupils expand their understanding of science by using investigative and problem solving techniques. The Science Adventure Study course is combined with adventure activity sessions.
- Courses have been matched to key elements of the National Curriculum.
- Pupils develop the skills of questioning, observing, predicting, recording, measuring and coming to conclusions.
- Promoting independent learning - pupils are encouraged to discover the answers to the questions for themselves.
- The accumulation of knowledge and skills is achieved through an entirely hands-on approach which improves motivation and retention.
- Each module allows for differentiated outcomes, according to the ability of each pupil.
