Loch Ranza

Loch Ranza, on the Isle of Arran  is PGL’s specialist Field Studies centre, catering for a wide range of courses. Ardrossan Harbour, is less than 1 hour by rail from Glasgow and the ferry crossing to Brodick takes approximately 55 minutes. Exciting outdoor activities are also available.

Not only is Loch Ranza one of the best field studies centres in the British Isles, it also offers a great selection of adventure activities, including gorge walking and mountain biking.

Located in stunning surroundings at the northernmost tip of the  wild but beautiful  Isle of Arran, the centre now offers three new activities: archery, canoeing and raft building. This unique landscape is ideal for enabling your group to experience an outdoor wilderness, whilst enjoying the support and comfort of a PGL centre.
