Educational Tours : Cross-curricular Tours

Tour Information

A tailor-made cross-curricular tour will give your students a broad base for learning and developing their investigative skills - and give you a real sense of the true rewards of teaching.

Our Tour Organisers will work with you from the outset to advise and arrange an itinerary designed to maximise the benefit of time spent outside school. Many visits have the additional support of resource packs and study booklets.

Cultural Tours

An ideal introduction to another culture, a tour with an eclectic itinerary - taking in experiences from art galleries, to cathedrals, markets to monuments. These tours can motivate learners, while promoting personal development at the same time.

'Explorer' Tours - based at a PGL Centre

If you base yourself at a PGL centre in Northern France or the UK,  you can have the benefit of a wealth of local visits and excursions, as well as optional adventure activity sessions and a programme of free evening entertainments - run by PGL staff. Our centres have a 'home from home' atmosphere and offer full board, comfortable, purpose-built accommodation and outstanding levels of service and support.

Multi Subject Tours

Why not combine more than one subject in just one tour? Teaming up with staff in another department is a great way for your school to get even more value from a trip.

In many cases it is possible for us to arrange itineraries so that the needs of different groups within one tour can be met. This can prove very useful if you have smaller numbers for your subject and cannot fill a coach.

Examples of 'combination' tours available:

London: combine Art /History/ Science
Paris: combine Art/ Science/ Language

Many more possibilities are available, please call our friendly Tour Organisers on 0870 162 5000 for advice on combinations that would work best for your group.
