Bad Kleinkirchheim
One of Austria's best known ski areas and the home of Austrian downhill champion Franz Klammer.
Situated close to the borders of Italy and Slovenia, Bad Kleinkirchheim offers excellent skiing opportunities across the range of ability.
The World Cup downhill run - designed by Franz Klammer himself - is a challenge for any skier. However, the majority of runs are wide and gentle and best suited to beginners and intermediates.
The area is served by a total of 25 lifts up to a height of 2043m, while the village of Bad Kleinkirchheim stands at 1080m.
