This centre offers a perfect location for field studies in the Ardèche. Set in extensive wooded grounds near dramatic limestone gorges, this centre is on the doorstep of the Massif Central.
The Ardèche region's stunning landscapes were crafted at the end of the last Ice Age by rivers running through the limestone rock. The river and its tributaries display examples of classic erosional and depositional features.
Human activity here began with cave dwelling and progressed through agricultural development to 20th Century tourism.
What better way to experience the Ardeche Gorge than from the river itself? As part of this course our river leaders take you on an incomparable 2 day canoe descent of the Gorge.
