Loch Ranza Field Studies Centre
Loch Ranza, on the Isle of Arran is PGL’s specialist Field Studies centre, catering for a wide range of courses including Geography, Geology, Biology and Environmental Science. Ardrossan Harbour is less than 1 hour by rail from Glasgow and the ferry crossing to Brodick takes approximately 55 minutes.

Meals at the centre have an excellent reputation and are generally home made, including breakfast rolls and soups. There are always several choices and special dietary requirements are easily catered for.

PGL Field Studies courses take place in some of the most outstanding study locations around the UK. From the Isle of Arran to the Jurassic Coast, they are versatile and suitable for study right up to A-Level/Higher Grade requirements. Modules are tailor made to meet the needs of the five major exam boards - WJEC, OCR, Edexcel SQA and AQA.
