Osmington Bay

Located at the heart of the Dorset World Heritage coast, Osmington Bay comprises a 45 acre site with its own private beach. A popular centre for watersports as well as offering a comprehensive land-based activity programme, Osmington runs a range of Field Studies and modular ICT courses.

Osmington Bay is close to Weymouth on the Dorset coast.

Located at the heart of the Dorset World Heritage coast, the 45 acre site includes a private beach.

The dramatic coastline is perfect for fossil hunting and nature walks with superb geographical, geological and ecological sites nearby.

Osmington Bay has 9 purpose-built ICT suites, furnished with a range of portable and static equipment used in the ICT and maths courses. Staff are allocated to groups on a ratio of 1:12.

Development Courses
KS 3 Development Course

Our induction (Year 7/S1), progression (Year 8/S2) and motivation (Year 9/S3) courses help students make connections about how their behaviour affects themselves and others while participating in adventure activities.


Field Studies
Field Studies - Durdle Door, Dorset

Our Field Studies specialists have created an extensive range of study modules which capitalise on the stunning environments our centres are based in. Modules are tailor made to meet requirements of the five major exam boards - WJEC, OCR, Edexcel SQA and AQA.


ICT
ICT Thumbnail

This course aims to inspire and build independence in the use of ICT. Our adventure-study ICT Courses give them the chance to link practical activities back to ICT work in the classroom.

Applying maths in the context of an adventure activity experience - using data and information derived from outdoor activity sessions and supported with ICT facilities.


Multi activity
Multi Activity

With over 50 activities to choose from, our Multi-Activity residential courses feature up to four activities per day. Courses can vary from 2 to 7 days; sessions promote teamwork, problem-solving and communication.
