Close to Torquay and within easy reach of the M5, Barton Hall offers accommodation in the main house and in en suite chalets. Facilities include an indoor activity zone, heated outdoor swimming pool, classrooms for Field Studies and Science, and ICT suites.
At the heart of the English Riviera with blue flag beaches and Dartmoor close by, Barton Hall offers great learning facilities and exciting activities.
Dartmoor National Park is an important site for many types of field study course - it offers superb geographical, geological and biological study material due to its distinctive geology and related habitats.
Torquay is an excellent base for the study of tourism and its effects.
The centre has fully trained science, mathematics and ICT staff in residence and provides high quality classroom and lab facilities for all Adventure Study courses.
