Mathematics

Applying maths in the context of an adventure activity experience - using data and information derived from outdoor activity sessions and supported with ICT facilities.

It can sometimes be difficult to make maths truly inspiring. Wouldn't it be easier to work with enthusiastic pupils who look beyond the classroom to find mathematical answers to how their world works?

All modules offer hands-on, practical experiences. The mathematical study relies on information and data derived from outdoor activity sessions.

Simply choose from our study units to select options that cover syllabus areas you want to cover during your stay - choose from 'Numbers and the number system', 'Algebra', 'Shape, Space and Measures' and 'Handling Data'.
