Mathematics
Applying maths in the context of an adventure activity experience - using data and information derived from outdoor activity sessions and supported with ICT facilities.
Alongside the study modules on this course your group will take part in outdoor activity sessions to encourage them to equate real life situations with mathematical methods.
Archery (pupil scores), Aeroball (no. of goals per team), Motorsports (length of course, lap timings), Zip Wire (velocity), Orienteering (interpreting scale maps, unit conversions)
