Osmington Bay
Located at the heart of the Dorset World Heritage coast, Osmington Bay comprises a 45 acre site with its own private beach. A popular centre for watersports as well as offering a comprehensive land-based activity programme.
Osmington Bay is close to Weymouth and approximately 3 hours drive from Birmingham.
Located at the heart of the World Heritage Jurassic coast, the 45 acre site includes a private beach. The dramatic coastline is perfect for fossil hunting and nature walks. The location provides stunning views of Weymouth, Portland and Chessil Beach.
This is one of PGL's largest centres, with a superb range of land and water based activities.
Watersports take place at nearby Portland Sailing centre, one of the key sailing locations for the 2012 Olympics.

PGL has teamed up with FitPro™ to deliver contemporary dance in fun and productive weekend workshops for girls in years 7-11.

Our induction (Year 7/S1), progression (Year 8) and motivation (Year 9/S2) courses help students make connections about how their behaviour affects themselves and others while participating in adventure activities.
- Field Studies

Choose a PGL Field Studies course at one of our outstanding locations and you will benefit from a balanced programme with the emphasis firmly on the hands-on approach.
- ICT

This course aims to inspire and build independence in the use of ICT. Your group will use their residential education and adventure experience as the inspiration for creative ICT learning.
- Maths

Applying maths in the context of an adventure activity experience - using data and information derived from outdoor activity sessions and supported with ICT facilities.
- Multi activity

With over 50 activities to choose from, our Multi-Activity residential courses feature up to four activities per day. Activities such as abseiling, archery, fencing and climbing can also be combined with Field Studies, ICT and Science to create tailor-made programmes.
- Science

Within key themes, pupils expand their understanding of science by using investigative and problem solving techniques. The Science Adventure Study course is combined with adventure activity sessions.

Although thoroughly tired, the pupils had been stimulated and had enjoyed the whole weekend. The staff all felt very pleased at the professionalism of the PGL staff.
