As well as personal development outcomes, students can take qualifications supported by the following National Governing Bodies:
- The British Canoe Union Open Canoe Test can be covered during the Ardèche descent. This involves a basic assessment of ability, encouraging safe practice and regard for equipment.
- Stage 1 of the RYA’s Young Sailor Scheme is covered in 2 half-days or one full-day session. Students will learn the key skills of dinghy sailing.
- The British Sub Aqua Club Resort Snorkellor award recognises ability regarding familiarisation with and safe use of equipment.
