Tour information
PGL offers Food Technology focused tours to France, Spain, Italy and Germany to give your students an authentic taste of European Cuisine. The tours are based around a set programme of cookery demonstrations and food-based excursions. Students will gain insight into traditional European culinary ideas and methods, be able to recognise and identify appropriate ingredients and appreciate the difference between European cuisine and typical British dishes.

Pizza and pasta are universally recognised, but a demonstration carried out with the enthusiasm and gusto of an Italian chef is an experience not to be missed!

The Language of Food - Germany
German Cuisine is traditionally characterised by hearty foods, such as sausages ("Wurst", of which there are reputedly over 1500 different types), dumplings, Sauerkraut and rye bread.
