Tour Information
PGL offers both language courses and tours in France, so you can choose whether your group follows a formal language study course, or simply gets an experience of French culture and everyday life.
Many groups choose an eclectic tour itinerary combining the 'must-see' excursions in their chosen area with visits to local markets or regional manufacturers - getting a real sense of local life. The Opal Coast, Normandy and Paris all feature PGL Centres as well as hotel accommodation. In addition we offer tours to the Loire Valley, Brittany and the South of France.
Adding in a trip to Disneyland® Resort Paris on the return journey is also a popular choice - Disney has even developed a website to make trips there a truly educational experience! Please see www.disneylandparis4schools.com for details of workbooks available.
Language Courses
Our language courses are suitable for levels from KS 2 to A-Level and can be tailor-made for your group, depending on their language level and requirements. Our courses are modular which ensures flexibility and allows you to choose topics that suit your group's learning needs.
In the practical elements of our courses, students are encouraged to interact with native speakers - we find that practical situations promote better retention of the new language learned.
Depending on your choice of destination, you may be able to stay at a PGL centre, where you will benefit from a free evening entertainment programme, full support from PGL staff and your group may combine excursions with adventure activities. (Supplement payable for adventure activities).
