Tour Information

PGL offer both language courses and tours in Germany, so you can choose whether your group follows a formal language study course, or simply gets an experience of German culture and everyday life. Whether on a course or a tour, our excursion booklets allow you to pick the visits that compliment your group's learning needs.

Our most popular destinations in Germany are the Rhineland and Moselle regions, and also the wonderful and historic capital, Berlin.

Many groups pick an eclectic tour taking in the 'must-see' destinations of the region they have chosen and adding visits to local towns and markets, to get a real sense of local life.

If you are part of a smaller Languages faculty you may like to join forces with a teacher from another department – for example a trip to Berlin could also be of benefit to History students.

PGL’s knowledgeable tour organisers will assist with arranging an itinerary to suit the needs of all kinds of ‘mixed’ or cross-curricular groups

Language Courses

Our language courses are suitable for Key Stages 3 & 4 and are modular, which ensures flexibility and allows you to choose the topics that best suit your group's learning needs.

In the practical elements of our German Language Detectives course we encourage communication with local native speakers - we find that practical situations promote better retention of the new language learned.
