Axamer Lizum

Host to the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1972, Axamer Lizum in Austria's Tyrol region boasts an outstanding snow record.

Axamer Lizum offers great powder snow, challenging mogul fields and the opportunity to ski an Olympic downhill run.
However, if you are looking for something a little less challenging, the area also offers an excellent progression from the nursery runs, and is well suited to the needs of a school group.

13 lifts cover 68km of marked pistes, ranging from 900m to 2340m over the three areas of Axamer Lizum, Mutteralm and Glungezer.
