Offering 195km of marked pistes and served by a total of 45 lifts, the Jungfrau is one of the oldest established ski areas in Europe since the British started taking winter holidays there over a century ago.
The wonderfully efficient mountain railway from Wilderswil and Interlaken gives access to all three resorts: Grindelwald, Wengen and Murren; the railway extends directly to Grindelwald. This uniquely Swiss form of skiers' transport has kept Wengen and Murren traffic free and they remain remarkably unspoilt.
