Schladming

A World championship resort with exceptional skiing - part of the 'Ski Amadé' ski area with 860km of pistes.

Schladming lies at the heart of the famous Dachstein-Tauern Skiparadies ski circuit which has been a favourite winter sports destination for years, and has a superb reputation as a top resort amongst Austrians themselves.  In 1982 the Alpine Ski World Championship took place in Schladming.  This attractive, historic silver mining town still retains much of its character.

Schladming has one of the best and most modern lift systems in Austria with further recent links. PGL groups are in an ideal position to ski the Planai, which now links with the rest of this vast area.
