These trips have been designed with small groups in mind, from as few as 12 students, travelling by air. So if your vision is an inspirational trip for Key Stage 3 (S1-S3), a post-examination trip for sixth-formers, or a motivational adventure for Key Stage 4 (S4-S5),
we can arrange it – and there is no pressure to fill a coach in order for the trip to run.

Tailor Made Trips

We tailor each trip to suit your needs, but we have included sample itineraries, activities and even prices to help you to choose the course that most interests you.
Once you have had a browse through our courses, pick up the phone and speak to one of our friendly Tour Organisers on 0844 371 2525. They can answer any additional questions you may have and take a no obligation provisional booking for your preferred destination.

They will send you a provisional booking pack containing further details and materials to help you promote the trip to your students and parents as well as deal with issues which may be helpful when proposing the trip to other staff, your Head, school governors etc. Your booking is secured with the payment of your first deposits - and your Tour Organiser takes care of the rest!

When to Travel

The adventures and trekking trips featured are ideal solutions for activity week and therefore most are suitable for trips from Easter through to August. However, should you be interested in travelling at another time of year please don’t hesitate to contact us for a quote.

Staff Support

Our head office staff work closely with you to provide support at every stage of your booking, answering any queries you may have and making sure the booking process runs smoothly. Once your trip is underway, we work in partnership with trained staff at your destination to ensure your stay is safe, rewarding and fun.

Tour Organisers
A dedicated Tour Organiser at our head office who understands exactly what you require as a teacher leading this kind of trip, will provide advice and support from your initial enquiry right up until your departure.

Tour Leaders
Each tour is led by a specially trained PGL Tour Leader who will work exclusively with your group to ensure all aspects of your trip run smoothly.

Activity Instructors & Other Staff
All activities included in your tour are instructed by experienced local activity instructors. PGL carries out a full risk assessment of the activity operation for each of these providers.

24 Hour Backup
In addition to your Tour Leader, your tour will be fully supported by a UK based operations team who are contactable 24 hours a day.

To help with your planning we have included a Guide Price on each tour page. Please call us to discuss a specific price for your planned trip as your group numbers and dates of travel may affect your final quote.

Once we have taken your booking the price will of course be final, based on the information you have given us, and will be subject to change only in exceptional circumstances, as detailed in our booking conditions.

The only additional items you may need to budget for are those you might need to organise before you travel, such as visas and vaccinations, any extra excursions, personal spending money and travel to your UK airport.
