The Bedouin Trails: Egypt

Duration: 9 day / 8 night tour

We take you to the very heart of the Sinai, into a land of astonishing variety; sandstone valleys, granite mountains, fertile oases and vast sand dunes. Moving from camp to camp with a camel caravan, groups learn about the Bedouin who inhabit these arid lands.

Other highlights include a day in Cairo visiting the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum and a climb to the top of Mount Sinai to see the sunset.

On the final day there is a chance to snorkel in the Red Sea.

Accommodation: 3 nights are spent in a hotel, 5 nights at a traditional Bedouin camp.

Walking Grade: Moderate walking trip (generally about 4 to 6 hours per day). A good level of fitness recommended.
