How we operate
PGL aims to operate in a safe and ethical manner at all times, whether in reference to our guests, our staff or our local communities. This section of the website summarises our safety standards, our stance on corporate and social responsibility and the National Governing Bodies and activity organisations with whom we work.
Safe Operating Standards
PGL has always placed a huge emphasis on safety. We are a founder member of BAHA (British Activity Holiday Association) and hold AALA licences for all activities in scope of the regulations. We have always been pioneers of a safe approach to outdoor education. Click here for more information on Safe Operating Standards at PGL.>
Memberships and Affiliations
PGL works with many organisations and National Governing Bodies to ensure that the courses and holidays we provide are of the highest possible standard. As the market leader we make a major contribution to ongoing developments in our field. Click here for details of our memberships and affiliations.>
Corporate and Social Responsibility
PGL takes its responsibility to the environment and to its many local communities very seriously. Our staff are encouraged to contribute ideas in this area - which can range from charity work with our chosen charities to improvements in recycling facilities at centres.
