National School Sports Week.
PGL were delighted to support the first ever National School Sports Week.
Thousands of schools across the country organised small events big and small.
At the Lincolnshire event Dame Kelly Holmes arrived by ‘Kellycopter’. There were 800 pupils there from 37 local schools, trying out different sports and having a great time!
Staff from nearby PGL Caythorpe Court were delighted to help inspire pupils to get active on the day by running the unique ‘PGL Chicken Skipping Challenge.’

Also at the event were Duncan Goodhew, ‘Spartan’ from Gladiators and Clive Wright - an international paraplegic athlete who all spent time with the children and parents and even tried out a few of the different activities on offer. Dame Kelly praised the organisation of the event by South West Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership and South Kesteven District Council as a real community effort.
