Boreatton Park Entertainment Programme - Summer 2009


On top of all our usual action-packed evening entertainment, this year we are hosting extra special events throughout the summer - so be prepared for some full on fun!!!

Here is the full programme for this summer. As well as giving you a sneak peak about what to expect we also advise you on anything you may wish to bring with you to make your holiday even more special.
 

Week commencing 18th July 2009: Beach Party

An evening spent in the cool summer sun taking part in beach theme activities to finish off the perfect PGL summer holiday. (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Please feel free to bring a grass skirt, cheeky shirt and Leis if you have them!
 

Week commencing 25th July 2009: 
Drum Bang 

Our professional instructors will teach your group how to create a musical masterpiece using African drums. Plus you’ll have loads of fun making a lot of noise! (held on Friday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)

Gladiator Challenge

Who will be the ultimate Gladiator when you take on your mates in games such as pole jousting, bouncy boxing and gladiator duel? (Held on Thursday for guests on a 10-13 holiday)

Prom Night

Don your best frock and join us at our end of holiday Prom night to party the night away. (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Please bring a posh frock to wear to your prom
 

Week commencing 1st August 2009: Wild West Day

Experience life in the Wild West on our fun filled themed day. You might want to learn to be a cowboy/cowgirl or perhaps you want to a sheriff.  (Held on Friday for all guests)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Feel free to bring a Wild West costumer with you if you have one (e.g. cowboy / cowgirl / sheriff)
 

Week commencing 8th August 2009:
Sports Day

A day or evening filled with sporting challenges both individually and within a team. Your day will culminate in a fantastic closing ceremony. (Held on Thursday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)

Disco Night

Dance the night away at our fun filled party! (Held on Friday for guests on a 10-13 holiday)
 

Live Music Event

PGL’s own mini summer festival with live music. The ideal way to finish your week. (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• If you would like to perform at the event then feel free to prepare an act for the main stage or bring some summer clothing to wear to the festival
 

Week commencing 15th August 2009: 
Superhero Day

Gain your own super hero powers at the PGL Super Hero School which will train you to become the ultimate Super Hero! (Held on Friday for guests on a 7-10 and 10-13 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Please bring along any costumes from home if you have one.

Boreatton's Got Talent

Audition in Boreatton Park’s own talent show, where the staff will be the judges. (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• If you have an act in mind, then please feel free to bring any outfits or props you would like to use in your act.
 

Week commencing 22nd August 2009: End of Summer Carnival

All your favourite summer fete stalls and games are coming to a centre near you!  Plus, bring your most flamboyant costumes with you and get involved in our carnival. (Held on Friday for all guests)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Please bring any flamboyant colourful costumes if you would like to take part in our carnival.
