Boreatton Park Entertainment Programme - Summer 2010
On top of all our usual action-packed evening entertainment, this year we are hosting extra special events throughout the summer - so be prepared for some full on fun!!!
Here is the full programme for this summer. As well as giving you a sneak peak about what to expect we also advise you on anything you may wish to bring with you to make your holiday even more special.
Week commencing 17th July 2010
Cookie Monster
Create your own cookies under the watchful eye of our PGL chefs. Finish the night with a DVD, hot chocolate and, of course, your cookies. (Held on Thursday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)
Art Attack
Your chance to show us your artist skills whilst bidding to be Art Attack champion 2010! (Held on Wednesday for guests on a 10-13 holiday)
Boreatton's Top Model
Which role will you take on as you get the opportunity to design or model your own hand made costume? Time will be spent in groups creating your vision before getting the opportunity to strut your stuff down the catwalk… (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)

Pirate Day
Undertake the PGL pirate training programme for the day! Learn to work, eat and sleep like a pirate. (Held on Wednesday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Please feel free to bring any pirate costumes you may have.
Gladiator Challenge
Who will be the ultimate Gladiator when you take on your mates in games such as pole jousting, bouncy boxing and gladiator duel? (Held on Thursday for guests on a 10-13 holiday)
Foam Party
Dance the night away at our fun filled foam party! (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)
Week commencing 31st July 2010
Sports Day
Your chance to compete in traditional sports day activities - split into teams you will have to use your skills to win points for your team in races such as the egg and spoon, 3 legged and sack race! Will your team hold the pole position throughout? (Held on Wednesday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)
Hawaiian Night
Round your week off with a Hawaiian themed party – BBQ, Pinata, limbo competitions, sand castle competitions and even an ice cream – then dance the night away with your friends. (Held on Wednesday for guests on a 10-13 holiday)
Boreatton's Got Talent
Do you have the nerve to face out panel of judges and perform in front of your friends?
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Come prepared with your act and any equipment you will need to take part in our talent show as you bid to be crowned Boreatton's Got Talent winner 2010.
Week commencing 7th August 2010
Wild West Day
Experience life in the Wild West on our fun filled themed day. You might want to learn to be a cowboy/cowgirl or perhaps you want to be a sheriff. (Held on Wednesday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• Feel free to bring a Wild West costumer with you if you have one (e.g. cowboy / cowgirl / sheriff)
PGL Olympics
A day or evening filled with sporting challenges both individually and within a team. Your day will culminate in a fantastic closing ceremony. (Held on Thursday for guests on a 10-13 holiday)
Live Music Event
PGL’s own mini summer festival with live music. The ideal way to finish your week. (Held on Friday for guests on a 13-16 holiday)
Guest preparation before arriving –
• If you would like to perform at the event then feel free to prepare an act for the main stage or bring some neon clothing to wear!

Birthday Party
Ever wished you could have more than 1 birthday in a year? Well now’s your chance – here at Boreatton Park it will be everybody’s birthday. You will get the 5* birthday treatment all day, with a buffet style lunch and a birthday party to remember in the evening with food, games and entertainment. (Held on Friday for guests on a 7-10 holiday)
Glee
Sign up at the start of the week if you want to take part in this extravaganza, spend 30 minutes each day working with your group to perfect your song to perform during the end of week disco. (Held all week for guests on a 10-13 holiday)

• If you have an act in mind, then please feel free to bring any outfits or props you would like to use in your act.

All your favourite summer fete stalls and games are coming to a centre near you! Plus, bring your most flamboyant costumes with you and get involved in our carnival. (Held on Friday for all guests)
