UK Holidays
Getting your child to and from our centres couldn’t be easier. You can drop your children off at our centres, but if your chosen centre is too far away to easily drive to, you may wish to use one of our superb PGL travel service options, so you can be sure that your child reaches us safely.
We offer three PGL travel options:
1. Fully escorted travel
A PGL member of staff travels with your child from when they are signed in at the meeting point, to arrival at the centre. On return, we will escort your child back to the meeting point, where the Travel Courier will remain on duty until all children are collected. Escorted travel to and from UK centres is available on Saturdays, with the exception of Little Canada where it is also available on a Monday and Friday for 4 night mini-breaks(see below).
Adult supervision all the way to and from the centre makes fully escorted travel a popular choice with many parents. Most journeys are by coach (fitted with lap belts) but occasionally travel may involve rail and coach, such as the journey from London to Beam House or coach and ferry in the case of Little Canada.
For children on holiday in the UK for more than one week, escorted inter-centre transfers are available between most centres.
Little Canada – Isle of Wight
Escorted travel to Little Canada is now also available for Monday to Friday mini breaks, enabling busy working parents to drop their children off at our meeting points in either in Portsmouth or Southampton first thing on a Monday morning, returning Friday evening.
2. Station transfer
For children old enough to travel alone by train, we offer a pick-up service from the station nearest to each centre. This service is only escorted from the arrival station to the centre and vice versa.
Our staff will be able to meet arrivals at the station between 15.30 and 16.30 and return guests to the station at the end of the holiday for trains departing between 09.00 and 10.00. Please note this service does not include rail tickets, which you must book and give to your child.
3. Airport/eurostarpick-ups
For children travelling from outside the UK we offer an escorted travel service from Heathrow airport and the London Eurostar terminal to our centres, as detailed below:

EUROSTAR, ALL CHANGE!
With the move of Eurostar from London Waterloo to St Pancras International from November 2007 getting to the continent will be quicker than ever! We don't yet have the exact travel times - so in the meantime call us for details - we'll be posting them here shortly though!

Check in /Check out
Most of our children travel to and from our centres using our escorted travel service. For those parents who prefer to drop off their children at our centres themselves, below are the arrival and departure times for all holiday durations. Before you decide to bring your child to the centre, and collect him/her yourself, compare the cost of the petrol you’ll use on two return car journeys with our escorted travel prices.
3-Night Mini-Break
Arrive: Saturday between 3-5pm
(First meal: dinner).
Depart: Tuesday between 1-2pm
(Last meal: lunch).
4-Night Monday to Friday Mini-Breaks
Arrive: Monday between 8.30-9am
(First Meal: lunch)
Depart: Friday between 5.30-6pm
(Last meal: lunch)
4-Night Tuesday to Saturday Mini-Breaks
Arrive: Tuesday between 11am–12noon
(First meal: lunch).
Depart: Saturday between 9-11am
(Last meal: breakfast).
7-Night Holidays
Arrive: Saturday between 3-5pm
(First meal: dinner).
Depart: Saturday between 9-11am
(Last meal: breakfast).
If you cannot arrive/depart between these times, please give our Holiday Consultants at least 3 days notice of your expected arrival time. Please call them on 08700 507 507 . We make a £10.00 per hour charge when children are dropped off earlier, or depart later, than the times above. In these circumstances we are not able to provide full entertainment and, although children will be supervised, they will have to entertain themselves.
