This fantastic 7 night holiday is all about surviving and thriving in the great outdoors!
What’s it all about?
This seven night holiday is all about surviving and thriving in the great outdoors! You’ll learn new skills and be given the knowledge of Bushcraft that is enjoying such resurgence in popularity. Taught by our Bushcraft Instructor, you’ll learn how to use the environment around you to build shelters, find food and keep warm. At the end of the holiday, there’ll also be a chance to show everything you’ve learnt and to obtain the PGL Survival Skills Award.
What will I learn?
During the week you will be taught a variety of Bushcraft skills and techniques. These will include everything from locating and using the materials around you to build a shelter, collecting firewood and preparing a fire, sourcing and identifying food through to additional skills like water collection and filtration.
You’ll also get to build and camp out in your own shelter and learn everything you need to know about how to survive in the wild!
Can I do other activities as well?
Yes, every day you’ll complete a half day of Bushcraft and also enjoy a half day of exciting activities from our multi activity programme.
Do I need any experience?
No, our Bushcraft Instructor will show and teach you everything you need to know.

Every day is different
We offer over 50 different activities across all our centres and we pack in as many as possible on every PGL Adventure Holiday so you can have loads of new experiences! Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the specific centre pages for more information.
The fun doesn’t stop there! We also include fun-packed evening entertainment programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.
Woodland and fields surround the centre and in the grounds there are activities including abseiling, climbing, archery, a fantastic high ropes course, a zip wire and motorsports. In the evenings there’s a social area to chill and chat or for hosting our varied evening entertainment programme.
|Breakfast||Off to the dining room with the rest of your group to fuel up for the day, you’ll need plenty of energy to keep you going. Breakfast includes cereals, toast, yogurts, porridge, and cooked breakfast – you choose!
