Two Centre Adventure

for Brigades and Cadets

Make a splash

Here it is – our dream combination!

Choose our most popular overseas adventure to combine the spectacular canoe descent of the Ardèche gorge with an exciting range of watersports on the Mediterranean - in one exhilarating package!

There’s the challenge of the two or three-day white water canoe descent of the Ardèche River, coupled with a few days of relaxing on sandy beaches of the warm, blue Mediterranean, trying out an exciting range of watersports.

If your group wants qualifications, they can benefit from the BCU and RYA awards; but the course is so much more than just developing skills and experience on the water, you’ll be amazed to see how much your young people grow in a short space of time.

Discover with us a watersports trip which offers the best of both worlds – and it’s a world away from the ordinary!

Learning outcomes

Your group will improve in areas including teamwork and communication.

A stay away from home helps young people develop independence and maturity.

Facing and overcoming challenges with the support of their friends, leaders and PGL staff will give members of your group a huge confidence boost.

We work hard to inspire a love of the outdoors and enthusiasm for a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to the personal development outcomes mentioned above, your group can take qualifications supported by the following National Governing Bodies:

  • British Canoe Union Paddlepower Awards
The Paddlepower Start award – for groups at a beginner level
  • Paddlepower Passport – covers Safety Awareness, Paddling Skills, Varied Experiences, and Supporting Knowledge in four progressive levels.
  • Royal Yachting Association - Start Sailing
To achieve stage one of this award, your group will learn key skills in dinghy sailing.
