PGL hosts international handball competitors in Paris

We’re having a busy week at PGL Château de Grande Romaine, thanks to the arrival of the national youth handball teams from 12 countries, competing to become champions at the Men’s Youth Mediterranean Handball Championship 2017.

Over 300 teenage competitors from France, Germany, Argentina, Qatar, Algeria, Turkey, Poland, Montenegro, Spain, Iceland, Italy and Tunisia are staying at our château on the outskirts of Paris during this event, where they train, unwind and re-fuel between matches.

The teams all seem in good spirits; they have over 70 acres of grounds at the château to use and they are certainly getting through a lot of food to get them match-ready! They’ll also be enjoying some sightseeing during their stay in Paris.

This is the 14th Men’s Mediterranean Handball Championship to take place and it coincides with the Men’s World Handball Championship which also takes place this week.

More information on this event can be found at http://14e-championnat-mediterraneen.fr

We wish all the teams the very best of luck in the event and may the best team win!
