February updates from PGL Sponsored Athletes Jack, Jai and Adam

Jack Culliford - Rifle Shooting
Jack has started his training at Brookbank shooting ground and is booked into his first competition for the year - the CW selection and GB/England selection shoot at Griffin Lloyd shooting ground, Wales in April.

Jai Geyer - Skiing
Jai let us know that he has been keeping busy whilst recovering from knee surgery. As well as trips to hospital in Glasgow for MRI scans and check-ups, he has made appearances in The Times and on BBC Spotlight. At the end of February, he will be returning to the Intensive Rehab Unit at Bisham Abbey to put in some more hard work towards getting himself and his knee back to full fitness.

Adam Billany - Sailing
Adam sent us news of his first competition of the season: ‘On the weekend of the 4/5 February I took part in the first RYA 2017 spring ranking event at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. It took me and my dad 7 hours to get there. It was very cold, wet and windy - typical sailing conditions really! I learnt that it is very important to push the start line otherwise you can quite easily find yourself too far behind. I finished 4th out of 6 boats which was a good result against 5 other very talented sailors and in the second race of the regatta I sailed possibly my best ever race and finished 2nd!’ His next event is squad training at Leigh and Lowton Sailing Club and he is looking forward to the 2017 open 2.4mr world championships in Sneekermeer in Holland later this year.’
