Geography KS3 at loch ranza for secondary schools

Seeing is believing

Here it is! The history of our planet, revealed in a cliff; a magnificent limestone arch eroded by the power of the sea; long-extinct creatures preserved as fossils in a rock.

This is your chance to bring all their hard work in the classroom to life in the surroundings of one of our specialist outdoor centres, located in three of the finest field studies locations in the UK.

Help your KS3 pupils towards a deeper understanding of their subject, using practical examples and case studies. Landscapes, rivers, settlements, rocks and fossils; our KS3 Geography fieldwork sessions examine a broad range of topics that benefit enormously from being taken outside the classroom.

Every one of our field studies courses is tailored to meet your exact requirements. We provide activity sheets and data collection equipment to provide ‘evidence’ for specific projects and an evening session to summarise the day’s work if required. Some of our most popular themes are listed below, but personalisation is what we do best!

The PGL Adventure Bonus
Choose from our popular on-site adventure activities such as zip wire, giant swing, trapeze, climbing or abseiling to complement your study sessions and tailor-make your course to your requirements.
