About Jugendhotel Hinterbrandthof

The Hinterbrandthof Youth Hotel has been recently modernised and is ideal for school groups. It is situated close to the valley floor just outside the town of Hinterglemm. The lifts in Hinterglemm are a short 5 minutes drive away.

Beginners start on the gentle beginner slopes and blue runs next to the Zwölferkogel Gondola in Hinterglemm. Later in the week they can explore the whole of the Saalbach valley as well as visiting the resorts of Leogang and Fieberbrunn.

Accommodation

The spacious hotel comprises two separate buildings with a total of 125 beds in 38 rooms over three floors. Students are generally accommodated in 2-6 bedded rooms. Teachers are accommodated in Austrian twins. All rooms are en suite. Many of the rooms have a balcony.

Breakfast is served buffet-style. A packed lunch is made up at breakfast for the slopes and the three-course evening meal is served to the table. A salad buffet is also available. Tap water is available with the evening meal.

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.

Intermediates will enjoy the beautiful tree-lined pistes on both sides of the valley and the open snowfields above Hinterglemm. Experts will find some steep and bumpy challenges, especially on the formidable Zwölfer run from the top of Hinterglemm at almost 2000 metres down to the bottom of the valley. Meanwhile, for beginners the nursery slopes are close to both village centres, with a range of good, easy runs higher up.
