Jugendhotel Oberwimm

The Emberger family have been welcoming youth groups to their hotel for many years.

The hotel is situated next to the Flying Mozart gondola in Wagrain which links to the Wagrain and Flachau ski regions.

You can walk to the beginner slopes at the bottom of the Flying Mozart lift or take the free ski bus to the Grafenberg lift which has several beginner slopes at 1600m.

Later in the week you can explore as far as Alpendorf on one side of the valley and Flachau on the other. The G-Link links both sides of the valley and takes up to 130 passengers at a time.

Your pass covers the whole of the Sportwelt, so more adventurous skiers can take a coach to Zauchensee and even Schladming to discover different ski regions.

Accommodation

There is a total of 260 beds in 67 rooms spread over three wings. Students are generally accommodated in spacious 4-7 bedded rooms. Teachers are mainly in twin or triple rooms with LAN internet access. All rooms are en suite and some have a balcony.

There are two spacious dining rooms seating 150 and 50 at one time, which can also be used as meeting rooms and for evening activities.

In addition, there is a large conservatory with a TV and DVD player which can also be used as a dining room.

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style and a packed lunch is provided for the slopes. There is a free fruit and drinks bar, where guests can serve themselves throughout the day. Hot lunches are available on request (small supplement applies).

A damage deposit may be payable on arrival.
