Working with England Netball
At the heart of your netball weekend programme is the tournament, designed for girls in years 7-11 (a minimum of 7 players per team are required to attend the weekend). The schedule of games allows each team maximum match experience, the chance to compete against other schools and also the opportunity to learn from watching other teams play. The tournament closes with a special presentation of medals and trophies by a Vitality Rose or a Vitality Superleague Star.
- PGL Netball Weekends are officiated by England Netball; the governing body for netball in England.
- Umpires provide ad hoc hints and tips on improving players’ techniques/tactics when requested and when available in downtime.
- Umpires are able to adapt their officiating approach to suit your objectives: this will be discussed during the Party Leader Welcome Meeting.
- A current member of the England Podium Squad or a Vitality Netball Superleague player will attend the event for the presentation ceremony to meet players, sign autographs and pose for pictures.

“The netball tournament was the best feature. It was well run and umpired and having an England player hand out the awards was a brilliant idea. The girls loved it.”
