Boreatton Park has our biggest choice of holidays...

Where do we start? It’s our biggest and most popular centre set around an imposing mansion house, with grounds so large it will take you at least a week to explore them! There’s a massive choice of holidays and accommodation, as well as great facilities including a fantastic sports hall.

If you want non-stop action and to make loads of new friends, then this is the place to come!

Available at Boreatton Park in 2024: 2, 3, 4 & 7 night Multi-Activity Camps, Adrenaline Quest, Pony Camp Beginner and NEW Streetdance!

We also offer optional extra days out to Drayton Manor and Alton Towers - NEW for Easter and running during summer too.

Accommodation

The mansion house was built in 1857 and is a rare ‘calendar’ house with four main doors, 12 chimneys and 365 windows. There are two floors of dorms with 8–16 beds per room and toilets/showers nearby. This is usually where the 8–11s, and some 11-13s stay.

The ‘Tall Timbers’ Lodges in the grounds have mainly four or six beds in a room with en-suite showers/toilets. These are normally for 11–13s and 13–16s. The 13–16s will also have their own chill out room.

Tents - Our tents stand on hard, ‘all weather’ bases and each has four proper beds. All the tents are grouped together in their own area of the site which has its own shower and toilet block.

NEW Cabins – Our wooden cabins combine the perfect blend of sleeping in nature and comfort. All the cabins are grouped together in their own cabin village, which has shower and toilet facilities nearby and a central sheltered communal area to relax in.

Facilities

Boreatton Park has everything you might need including our brilliant sports/activity hall with its superb climbing wall. We’ve also got a football pitch, a purpose-built dining room and the ‘Mini Moose’ lounge. Our 240 acres of grounds include a river, three lakes and abseiling towers. There are also five zip wires (including one across a lake), abseil towers, a high ropes course, Jacobs’ Ladders, six giant swings and more.

Food

Fuel for adventure
To keep your children energised for their active PGL break our catering teams work hard to produce a menu jam-packed with nutritious family-friendly favourites to suit all appetites. This year we have made some improvements to bring you our best menu yet! View our sample menu here.

  • The PGL breakfast - hot options, cereals, toast, yoghurts, pastries & more!
  • Lighter tastier lunches - a pit-stop to prepare for a busy afternoon. Refuel with fresh sandwiches, soups, pasta or salads.
  • Delicious 'kids favourites' evening meals - crowd pleasing classics such as fish & chips, roast dinners and bangers & mash.

Our buffet style dining room means that children can ‘mix and match’ the items they love most and have unlimited access to our salad bar and fresh fruit. Our Group leaders are on hand to help and will look out for anyone who can’t find anything on the menu that they enjoy. If necessary our catering teams will be more than happy to prepare something special.

Allergies, intolerances and other dietary requirements
A vegetarian alternative can always be provided on all our holidays, and we can accommodate most special diets required on medical or religious grounds, just let us know when you book.

Keeping hydrated
Water, squash, tea and coffee are available with all meals and children are encouraged to refill their water bottles for regular use throughout the day. There are also water fountains available around the centre.
