ACTION AND ADVENTURE
WET & WILD
Exclusive to Little Canada
Six half days of watersports + six half days of multi activities
If you get a real kick out of having fun on the water, then Wet & Wild is the action-packed holiday that’s right up your street!
What’s it all about?
If you get a kick from fun on the water, then Wet & Wild will float your boat! The Isle of Wight is a mecca for watersports and here you’ll try waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, inflatables such as banana boats, kayaking and canoeing.
Can I do other activities as well?
Yes – every day you’ll also enjoy half a day of dry land activities from our brilliant multi activity programme, plus different entertainment every evening. So you can pack in loads of other new experiences too!
What will I learn?
Wakeboarding, like snowboarding on water, is one cool way to take to the water. Then try waterskiing – with two skis to control, you’ll start on a training bar alongside the boat, but will soon progress to a long line.
For powerboating, we have boats with engine sizes from 50–90bhp; plus we have Wave Slayer inflatable’s to tow you behind! Weather permitting; you’ll also spend a full day sailing to Cowes, home of British yachting.
Do I need any experience?
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a dab hand at watersports or a complete beginner. If you’re looking for excitement and are water confident, then this is your holiday!
Do I need any specialist equipment?
No, we provide everything from wetsuits to lifejackets, plus personal tuition from our fully trained instructors.
Just be ready to get very wet!
Every day is different
We offer over 40 different activities across all our centres and we pack in as many as possible on every PGL Adventure Holiday. Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the specific centre pages for more information.
The fun doesn’t stop there! We also include fun-packed evening entertainment programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.
|Breakfast||Off to the dining room with the rest of your group to fuel up for the day, you’ll need plenty of energy to keep you going. Breakfast includes cereals, toast, yogurts, porridge, and cooked breakfast – you choose!
Don’t forget to refill your drinks bottle before you head off to your first activity
|Morning Activities||Power boating and Wakeboarding|
|Lunch||Worked up an appetite? Great – it’s time to replenish your energy stores with the dining room. If you have energy to spare after lunch your Group Leader will always be ready for a quick kickabout with a ball or you could relax and chat with your new friends.|
|Afternoon Activities||Multi Activities such as Giant Swing and Fencing|
|Dinner||Time to eat again – a different menu each day (and did we mention, often evening meals come with a hot pudding too – or you can stick with fruit if you prefer).|
|Evening Ents||Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and much more – your evening entertainment programme gives you the chance to get together with everyone else in your age group and have some laughs.|
|Bedtime||Bedtime. The younger ones go first whilst older groups have time to chill out and chat or watch a DVD. Then it’s lights out and time to sleep ready to do it all over again tomorrow!|
