Football School

for international students

  • Football School in the UK for international children

Learn English and play football

PGL’s Football School programme combines expert football coaching sessions with English language learning and excursions to places of interest. It’s an ideal opportunity for students to learn English in different environments and improve their football skills.

FA qualified coaches lead 12 hours of coaching per week, while the 15 hours per week of English lessons are taught by CELTA qualified teachers.

How does it work?

Designed  to be engaging, enjoyable and fun, this programme is an ideal opportunity for students to learn English in a friendly, English-speaking environment and improve their football skills as well.

  • Players are taught a range of movements and techniques by Football Association (FA) qualified coaches, using training sessions similar to those attended by top players.
  • Coaching sessions include game play and are designed to be fun and exciting as well as challenging and motivating.
  • Players demonstrate their ability in games, develop courage and confidence and an understanding of how to learn from their mistakes.

There are plenty of facilities to keep your group occupied during free time, plus fun-packed evening entertainment programmes, run by the PGL centre team, to keep your group happy and busy until bedtime.
