5 Frightfully Fun Outdoor Activities for Halloween!

1. A Halloween paddle
British Canoeing have given five of their popular canoe trails a Halloween-themed makeover - with spooky surprises to entertain you along your journey. It's a fun way to get everyone out on the water this October and enjoy the beautiful autumnal landscapes.
2. Cycling in the dark
Listen out for the hooting owls and eerie rustling in the woods as you enjoy the British countryside at its most mysterious, with a bike ride in the moonlight! British Cycling have some great tips for riding in the dark so you can ensure everyone stays safe on their spooky cycling adventure!
3. Try a ghost walk
With the light fading earlier, October is a perfect time for a ghost walk. It's a great way to explore the hidden parts of your local town or city and get to know more about the history of the area. Ghost walks are available throughout the UK so there's sure to be one near you.
4. Campfire stories
It's one of the things our guests enjoy most at PGL. There's nothing better than rounding off an active day with a ghost story around the campfire as you toast marshmallows in the embers. The Scouts have some great advice for building your own campfire safely.
