About Gasthof Mitterwirt
The Gasthof Mitterwirt is a comfortable, family run three-star property with all rooms fully en suite. It offers a high level of accommodation in a well-maintained old building, full of character and decorated in traditional Austrian style throughout.
Piesendorf is an attractive village in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. It is 3km from Kaprun and 4km from the lifts in Zell am See.
The dining room is on the ground floor and traditionally furnished. Breakfast is served buffet-style, packed lunches are provided and there is a three-course evening meal. Tap water is available at all meals on request. Groups meet at the bottom of the Nagelkopf lifts (1km) or the Areitbahn (4km) on their first day, snow conditions permitting.
There are 55 beds in total, divided over three floors. Rooms accommodate between two and five guests in Austrian twins and some bunk beds. Some of the rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard.
All rooms have a telephone and TV and are fully en suite with either a bath or shower. None of the rooms have balconies.
