Hotel First Mountain
About Hotel First Mountain
The Hotel First Mountain is just 800m from the Kitzsteinhorn glacier lifts. Large groups have sole use of this recently renovated traditional Austrian hotel.
The glacier offers guaranteed snow and skiing above 3,000m. Beginners start on the beginners’ area at Langwied before catching the main gondolas up to the very top, where there is a modern drag lift providing access to longer runs.
Later in the week you can visit the Maiskogel in Kaprun or the lifts at Zell am See, both of which are included on the pass.
There is a total of 60 beds in 20 rooms spread over 3 floors.
Students are generally accommodated in spacious 4-7 bedded rooms.
Teachers are mainly accommodated in 2-4 bedded rooms.
All rooms are en suite and equipped with a TV and hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony and most have a safe.
The hotel has a large, traditional dining room plus a bar and lounge area which can be used as meeting rooms for evening activities. There is also a chill-out area in the basement and an outside BBQ area.
Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style and a packed lunch is made up at breakfast to take to the slopes. Tap water is available on request.
