Adventure Holidays at
LITTLE CANADA
Isle of Wight
Fantastic creek-side location
Wide range of facilities
Little Canada, the home of Wet and Wild!
Set in 48 acres of woodland on the banks of Wootton Creek, and with log cabin style accommodation, it would be easy to confuse Little Canada with the country from which it draws inspiration. Locations don’t come much better than this and we also have private access direct to the water from our seafront.
During a Multi Activity holiday at Little Canada you can expect to experience one or two of our amazing watersports activities however if you really want to make the best of this location then why not try our Wet & Wild holiday?
Accommodation
Many of our log cabins have recently been updated and refurbished. Most rooms sleep 4–6 children and have their own bathroom. The cabins are grouped together in small villages. 8-10s usually stay in our cosy Woodland House, situated in the grounds with en-suite rooms.
Facilities
We have a fantastic range of activities including a low ropes course, abseiling towers, an archery range, giant swing and our very own creek for dragon boating and other watersports. We also use the beach, just a short walk away, for canoeing, kayaking and many of the activities on the Wet & Wild holiday. There are also two 10m climbing and abseiling walls, sports hall, tunnel trail and the mysterious Matrix!
*Please note that activities may differ slightly to those shown in the 360° view. Please refer to the ‘Activities’ section for a full list of activities available at each centre.
Activities available
Every day is different
We offer over 40 different activities across all our centres and we pack in as many as possible on every PGL Adventure Holiday. Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the list below for activities available at this centre.
Evening activities
The fun doesn’t stop there! We also include fun-packed evening entertainment programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.
Food
Fuel for LIFE!
Fun may be important, but so is food, and we want to inspire children into a healthier lifestyle that includes a tasty, balanced diet. We work closely with leading catering organisations to ensure our food is the best it can be and our dining rooms are fun, active places where it’s good to refuel during a busy fun-packed day.
From fussy eaters to growing appetites!
No-one should leave our dining room hungry so we try to offer a range of different and nutritious hot food to suit all appetites. There is unlimited access to the salad bar and bread basket and children can help themselves to fruit. Our buffet style dining room means that children can ‘mix and match’ the items they love most. Our Group leaders are on hand to help and will look out for anyone who can’t find anything on the menu that they enjoy.
If necessary our catering teams will be more than happy to prepare something special.
Allergies, intolerances and other dietary requirements
A vegetarian alternative can always be provided on all our holidays, and we can accommodate most special diets required on medical or religious grounds, just let us know when you book.
Keeping hydrated
Water, squash, tea and coffee are available with all meals and children are encouraged to refill their water bottles for regular use throughout the day. There are also water fountains available around the centre.
