Enjoy watersports on the Med straight from the beach at our Mimosa centre
PGL Mimosa is just a stones throw from the clear waters of the Mediterranean!
Situated near Valras Plage on the Mediterranean, at Mimosa you can either chill out on the beach or enjoy some action-packed watersports! Mimosa is exclusive to PGL, it's set back from the shore and opens out onto a long beach on the Langedoc Coast. The centre has an exciting range of activities available - with the main focus on watersports.
During your stay you’ll get to try out some fantastic watersports activities such as banana boating and sailing all on the amazing waters of the Mediterranean. The majority of activities take place on the beach so you don’t need to go far to take part however, we will also take you to the clear waters of Cap d’Agde to snorkel and to the local port to try out Stand up paddleboarding and Raft building.
Accommodation
Accommodation at Mimosa is in tents with shower and toilet facilities close by. The tents all have four camp beds and you will need to bring your own sleeping bag, bottom sheet and pillow.
Facilities
Mimosa has a disco, dining marquee and a relaxation area to chill out. There’s a shop and our disco that caters for up to 300 other PGL-only party goers, so if you want a safe and lively night life, this is the place for you.

Activities available
Every day is different
We offer over 40 different activities across all our centres and we pack in as many as possible on every PGL Adventure Holiday. Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the list below for activities available at this centre.
Evening activities
The fun doesn’t stop there! We also include fun-packed evening entertainment programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.
Food
Fun may be important, but so is food and we want to inspire children into a healthier lifestyle that includes a tasty, balanced diet.
Our centres in France have a delicious range of food choices on their menu with a cultural flavour and whenever possible we source fresh, regional produce. We aim to provide a balance of food which is familiar but also gives guests the opportunity to try dishes influenced by the area they are visiting. There will always be a good selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables on offer each day as well as a range of salads at lunch and dinner.
'Please sir, can I have some more?'
Appetite varies hugely from child to child and we want everyone to leave the dining room feeling full and happy. There is unlimited access to the salad bar and bread basket and children can help themselves to fruit. Our buffet style dining room means that children can ‘mix and match’ the items they enjoy.
Our Group leaders are on hand to help and will look out for anyone who can’t find anything on the menu that they enjoy. If necessary our catering teams will be more than happy to prepare something special.
Allergies, intolerances and other dietary requirements
A vegetarian alternative can always be provided on all our holidays, and we can accommodate most special diets required on medical or religious grounds, just let us know when you book.
Keeping hydrated
Water, squash, tea and coffee are available with all meals and children are encouraged to refill their water bottles for regular use throughout the day. There are also water fountains available around the centre.
