We’ve got the break for you! NEW for 2024 our Mad Science Camp combines the very best of PGL Multi-Activity at three of our most popular Kids’ Camp centres with crazy science workshops provided by our partner Fun Science.

Can I do other activities as well?
Yes, as well as the Mad Science programme you’ll enjoy a half day of activities from the residential centre's brilliant multi-activity programme every day and different evening entertainment each night.
Is previous experience required?
No, you don’t need any previous scientific experience to take part in our Mad Science Camp. Just a big imagination!
Do I need any specialist equipment?
You don’t need to bring anything special; we will send you a kit list before you travel and apart from that we will provide everything you need for your Mad Science Camp.
Ps - to create the best camp experience for kids attending occasionally we will combine adjacent age groups on selected activity sessions. This does not include rooming or pastoral groups.

Every day is different
Whilst not in your Mad Science workshops you'll get to enjoy a selection of classic PGL Multi Activities on offer at your chosen centre. Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the specific centre pages for more information.

We also include fun-packed evening activities programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.

Sample Itinerary

Saturday | Arrive between 3-5pm for your first meal at dinner time. Get to know your new camp-mates during evening activities with your PGL groupie! |
Sunday | Half day Mad Science - coding and robots! You will learn basic block coding and get to create your very own Bristle Bot to take home. Half day PGL Multi-Activities |
Monday | Half day Mad Science - coding and robots. Building on your knowledge from the day before you'll code games and bigger robots. Half day PGL Multi-Activities |
Tuesday | Half day Mad Science - Static electricity and circuits. Hair raising fun including building your own fibre optic torch to keep! Half day PGL Multi-Activities |
Wednesday | Half day Mad Science - potions! Blow up a balloon with chemistry and concoct elephant's toothpaste.Half day PGL Multi-Activities |
Thursday | Half day Mad Science - slime and polymers. This day is ALL about the slime - fluffy, farty and bouncy! You'll also get to experiment with hand mouldable plastic. Half day PGL Multi-Activities

Friday | Half day Mad Science - rockets and forces. You'll be building your very best rocket to launch into the sky - who can keep their egg safe?! Half day PGL Multi-Activities

All of our Kids' Adventure Camps include breakfast, lunch and dinner - you can find dietary information and sample menus here.
The itinerary above gives a really great idea of what to expect on your Specialist Kids' Camp. Very occasionally we may have to rearrange activities due to weather or staffing, however wherever possible our team will reschedule or replace with like for like options during your stay.
Bawdsey Manor
PGL Bawdsey Manor in Suffolk is a centre like no other. Right on the beach with 144 acres to explore.
Beam House
Beam House is our hideaway set in North Devon and the home of our specialist surfing holidays. Close to some of the best beaches in the UK.
Boreatton Park
Based in Shropshire with the biggest range of activities and almost everything is on site. With excursions to Alton Towers and Drayton Manor.
Dalguise
Between Dunkeld and Pitlochry at the heart of Perthshire’s ‘Big Tree Country’ you will find PGL's Dalguise - explore the rugged Scottish highlands.
Liddington
In a superb rural location, whilst still only a few minutes from junction 15 off the M4 in Wiltshire, Liddington is easy to get to and offers over 20 activities.
Little Canada
Great waterside location on the Isle of Wight - perfect for an island adventure! Just a few minutes drive from the regular Fishbourne Ferry.
Marchants Hill
One of our most popular centres, close to London near Hindhead in Surrey with over 20 activities on site.
Newby Wiske Hall (NEW!)
Set in beautiful private grounds and just 15 minutes from the A1 in rolling countryside between the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Osmington Bay
Situated right by the sea at the heart of Dorset’s World Heritage ‘Jurassic Coast’ just outside Weymouth. With access straight out onto a beautiful pebble beach.
Tregoyd House
In a stunning rural location on the edge of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. Home to our Pony Camp Trekker holiday.

Near Hailsham, East Sussex, only two hours from Central London 45 minutes from Brighton and one hour from the Channel Tunnel.
