Discover our residential Aqua Explorer camp in 2024! Available at six of our best UK centres bursting with water-based fun! Half of your time will be spent making a splash on specialist watersports activities and enjoying classic PGL Multi-Activities.

Half day White Water Rafting with The Rafting Company
Half day Canyoning with Nae Limits
On-site watersports activities such as Canoeing, Raft Building and SUP
Osmington Bay, Dorset:
Full day Coasteering and Crag Climbing at Cumulus Outdoors Adventure
Half day at Dorset Adventure Park on their two inflatable aqua park courses
Two half days at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy enjoying PGL watersports activities
Little Canada, Isle Of Wight:
Delivered by our awesome on-site staff at our private beach plus an off-site visit to an Aqua Park
Activities include Banana Boating, Keelboat Sailing, Towed Inflatables (such as ringos and banana boats!), Wake Boarding, Canoeing and Kayaking
Bawdsey Manor, Suffolk:
PGL Canoeing and Raft Building
Two half days at Curve Watersports - Aqua Park, Wake-boarding, Ringos and over-water ropes course
Marchants Hill, Surrey:
Full day at Thorpe Lake - Wake/Knee Boarding and Aqua Park
PGL Canoeing and SUP
Full day Andrew Simpson Centre, Portsmouth - learn to Sail and Windsurf with RYA certified instructors
Liddington, Wiltshire:
Full day at South Cerney Outdoor Centre - learn to Sail and Windsurf with RYA certified instructors
Half day at 4 Lakes - towed inflatables in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds with BWSF qualified instructors
Cotswolds Country Park and Beach - Spend an hour conquering the giant AquaVenture inflatable obstacle course
Is previous experience required?
No previous experience is required on any of our Aqua Explorer Camps - however you will need to be a strong swimmer, able to swim 50 metres. Please note also - where an Aqua Park is included in programme participants will need to be taller than 1.1m.
Do I need any special equipment?
Buoyancy Aids, Wetsuits and Helmets will be provided where necessary, along with expert tuition and supervision. All you need to bring is swimwear, towels and water shoes/grip socks.
Ps - to create the best camp experience for kids attending occasionally we will combine adjacent age groups on selected activity sessions. This does not include rooming or pastoral groups. During off-site activities in public areas children will be escorted by a member of our PGL team at all times.
NOTE - For the safety of guests occasionally watersports activities need to be cancelled or postponed due to weather or tide conditions. In this instance our team will endeavour to provide alternative activities and reschedule any missed sessions where possible. We regret that within a set holiday period in exceptional weather circumstances this may not always be possible.

Every day is different
During your week long camp you'll try out a huge range of watersports activities, along with a selection of our classic PGL Multi Activities too. Depending on your location you may find yourself Crag Climbing, Sailing, Water Skiing and more! Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the specific centre pages for more information.

All of our Kids' Adventure Camps include breakfast, lunch and dinner - you can find dietary information and sample menus here.
The itinerary above gives a really great idea of what to expect on your Specialist Kids' Camp. Very occasionally we may have to rearrange activities due to weather or staffing, however wherever possible our team will reschedule or replace with like for like options during your stay.
